Addictive Beauty

The exhibition 'Addictive Beauty' is held at the Rag Factory, from Sat 28th - Sun 29th Aug, and Fri 3rd- Sun 5th Sept 2010. Time 7.30-10pm. Admission is Free . A small curation of images selected from nearly 4000 that were taken on my mobile camera phones. The work shows a different side of Caribbean life,a narrative that explores the indelible beauty of the 'Spice Isle' - Grenada. Its frictions of ruggedness, sensitivity and fragility are apparent in its landscapes, telling some of the story of Grenada's history and industry. For me the island has an addictive quality - pulling me back to return there. I would like for you to come and see why I left London on New Year's Day to be there for 8 months.
